Safe drinking water supply through source protection

Access to clean drinking water within reasonable distance is hardly possible for the inhabitants of Ntebe village, consumption of water from unsafe sources is the rule. The protection of a natural water source and the establishment of water committees will directly improve the local drinking water supply.

  • Preliminary study and preparation of construction measures
  • Construction of specific drinking water infrastructure (spring water tapping points, collection chambers, reservoir, supply line, and water taps)
  • Formation and training of water management committees to monitor, maintain and manage the newly created facility
  • Training and sensitisation of the population.
